SHOOTING DOGS

I try my best to spend a lot of time with my dog, Angie. We’ve had Angie for almost 9 months now. I’ve shot a lot of videos of Angie but this is my first time piecing together a short video.

I wanted to test the A6300’s high frame rates and Zeiss’s behavior with lens flares. The biggest mistake I’ve committed on this video is using a lens hood rather than an actual matte box. You’ll see a cutoff of some of the lens flares around 2:03.

I thought about fixing it in post but I try to not add fake lens flares on my videos, unless I am actually doing a study on creating lens flares in post.

Overall, this video is a showcase of what my A6300 and Zeiss 55mm can do in a well-lit environment. Since this is my first blog post, I’ll keep it short and not bore you. If you want to see more of my work, please see my YouTube channel.
